Trouble is afoot for Cadogen, yet again. Merit is having problems reconciling with her nature; people are getting messages causing them to direct hostility at people who are innocent of wrong-doing. All that and House Cadogen is accused of making death threats against one of Merit's old family friends. Oh, and Celina is free which added to the rest is a recipe for disaster.
This was a good second book in the Chicagoland Vampire series. I like the way the characters are developing, though I could live without the conflict between Merit and Ethan. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
